Microblading is great for busy parents, who want to stay sleek but don’t have the time to gloss up every morning. However, it’s important to get Microblading before or after pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Everytime the skin is broken, there is a risk of getting an infection, which might be harmful for the fetus. Our salon follows excellent hygiene standards, which means the possibility for getting an infection is extremely low. In fact, we have served thousands of clients and we’ve never had incidents, where the treated area has caught an infection. We take safety very seriously and therefore, as an extended safety measure, we refuse to perform Microblading or other permanent make-up treatments, if you’re pregnant.

“Pregnancy hormones can reduce the permanence of Microblading.”

The second reason, why we don’t offer permanent make-up treatments, if you’re expecting, is that we can’t guarantee the best possible results. During pregnancy the body goes through different changes and they’re not always favorable for Microblading. For example, pregnancy hormones promote blood circulation, which can reduce the permanence of Microblading. Increased blood circulation may prevent the pigments from setting into the skin properly and intensify the fading of the pigments.

After waiting nine months to finally get your brows treated, you might have to wait a tiny bit longer. If you’re breastfeeding the baby, any possible infections can be carried to them through breastmilk. For precautionary reasons, it’s best to get Microblading, when you’re done nursing the baby.

Brow tinting and waxing gives your brows definition without breaking the skin.
